Within the two year registration period the learner may transfer his/her registration to a different size qualification at the same level or different level. However please note the current registration period and expiry date still stands and cannot be extended.

If the transfer is to a smaller qualification there will be no additional fee. However please note there will be no reimbursement for the difference in price.
If a learner does not commence or complete his/her qualification within the registration period (see section 4) and his/her registration expires, there will be NO reimbursement of any fees.
If a learner wants to continue his/her studies following the expiration of the registration period he/she will be liable to pay the re-registration fee for the IWFM qualification to allow for another two year registration period.
4. Registration period
The learner registration period is two years, which means a learner has two years in which to complete his/her studies to achieve a IWFM qualification. The registration period begins on the day the learner is emailed the activation details and NOT when the learner activates the qualification.
5. Results
Learners’ assignments are marked by a team of experienced practitioners who are qualified assessors. IWFM qualifications are not graded – the result is either ‘Achieved’ or ‘Not Achieved’. If an assignment is marked as ‘Not Achieved’ the learner will have the opportunity to resubmit his/her answer on two other occasions. This allows for a total of three submissions per unit.
6. Appeals
A learner may appeal against an assessment decision. An appeal must be lodged in writing to the IWFM within 14 days of receipt of the results. IWFM cannot accept applications for appeals after this time. IWFM cannot be held responsible for any correspondence that is lost in transit.
